Maria Antonia “Maoi” Arroyo is a serial entrepreneur who has established, invested in, and operated several commercial ventures and social enterprises in varying industries of the Philippines, ranging from food security and distribution, real estate and land-banking and development, to media entertainment and merchandise distribution. She is also an educator, teaching as an adjunct professor at the Asian Institute of Management. She was selected by the World Economic Forum to be one of the members of its 2015 Class of Young Global Leaders in 2015 and was also the first Philippine delegate to the UK International Leaders Program in 2014. She was hailed as a 2013 DevEx Chevron 40 under 40 International Development Leader and awarded the TOYM by the President of the Philippines in 2011. Maoi was the CEO and founder of Hybridigm Consulting – the pioneer innovation consulting firm in the Philippines. She obtained her MPhil in Bioscience Enterprise from the University of Cambridge and her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of the Philippines.

He has been affiliated with the BakerBotts law firm in Austin, Texas, the Kim & Chang firm in Seoul, South Korea and has held a variety of positions in the technology world including Senior in-house counsel, Asia, for Oracle Corporation and as Managing Director of Informatica SEA Pte. Ltd. based in Singapore. From 2008-2013, Joel was based in South Korea where he acted as the Director of the Gyeonggi-UT Innovation Program, a joint initiative between a Korean governmental agency and the University of Texas at Austin IC2 Institute. The program was focused on providing market validation, education and business development support for Korean SMEs seeking to enter the international marketplace. Joel is a founding partner of Quantum Innovations LLC, a global technology commercialization-consulting firm, and as General Counsel to Knod, a global provider of a unique employability enabling educational platform.

He established the nationwide network for Seiko's paging wristwatch. David earned a Double degree from Brigham Young University and took advanced educational courses at Wharton and Harvard. John Orlina has spent much of his career working in the Philippine innovation ecosystem. He began his career in US biotechnology, working at the WellStat group of companies. First at a startup company involved in early stage drug research then to a more established company in medical devices within the WellStat group. John has harnessed his experience in quality assurance to drive companies towards their business goals. Aside from overseeing all business operations of Hybridigm Consulting as Chief Operating Officer, he has provided business development consulting to clients in various sectors such as agriculture, software development, manufacturing, fashion, and tech; trained students, professors, entrepreneurs, and government officials in market validation and entrepreneurial finance; worked with the national government in developing data sharing policies for the national disaster risk mitigation program and co-creating the assessment methodology used to rate business and technology readiness for all national government funded research projects. He obtained his MBA from the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) and his bachelor's degree in chemistry from New York University and is a founding mentor for the AIM Dado-Banatao Incubator.

Gaston “Titos” Ortigas is a professor at the Asian Institute of Management whose key areas of expertise revolve around Strategic Planning, Entrepreneurship, Total Quality Management, Business Process Reengineering, E-Commerce and E-Governance, Operations Management and Critical Thinking. His extensive career in education and consulting have given him both public and private sector exposure. He possesses deep knowledge in software development, and businesses in the information and communications technology sector. Titos is also involved in various social enterprises, seeking to help improve and develop Philippine society through more sustainable means. He holds a Bachelor in Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of the Philippines, and a Master in Business Management from the Asian Institute of Management.

Ari Lopez has worked in various industries since graduating from De La Salle University with a degree in International Studies – American Studies, bringing with him a wide array of experiences. He has worked for NGOs and non-profit organizations such as the Australian-New Zealand Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines, and the Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship; as well as corporate firms such as KPMG Manabat Sanagustin & Co., CPAs; and the academe, returning to his alma mater, De La Salle University as part of its administration. In his previous job as senior consultant at Hybridigm Consulting, Ari led strategic management projects such as capital raising and deal structuring efforts for MovieClub Systems Inc. a video-on-demand distribution firm eventually absorbed into the Cosmic Technologies (Cherry Mobile) portfolio; as well as market validation and strategy for IntelliSense, a startup from De La Salle University – Manila looking to commercialize technology and services to aid in autism care. He has also facilitated training and development programs for academe and public sector clients. He holds an Executive Masters in Business Administration from the Asian Institute of Management.

RP has had extensive corporate sector exposure, having worked for Isla Lipana & Co., the Philippine entity of PriceWaterhouse Coopers (PwC), with a focus on tariff classification, and technical research. His corporate experience extends to training and development of key personnel and staff. He also has ties to the academe, having been a teacher in the Ateneo de Manila High School and developed programs for the K-12 transition of the school. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with Minor Degree in Management from the Ateneo de Manila University. RP spearheaded the Global Innovation Policy Accelerator in the Philippines for Nesta, the UK’s Innovation Foundation - a project funded by Innovate UK and Newton Agham. RP continues to be policy lead for working groups on all innovation legislation currently on the docket in the Philippines.

KM worked as a community doctor in remote and underserved areas of the Philippines under the Doctors to the Barrios Program of the Department of Health before joining the academe. As a university researcher in the University of the Philippines – Manila, she was part of the team that pioneered the use of telemedicine devices in rural and remote health facilities to improve the quality and efficiency of health service delivery. She received funding from the UK Frontiers of Engineering for Development to study the use of machine learning to improve decision making using low-cost devices. For her work in eHealth, she was recognized as a Digital Mover by Rappler in 2016. KM received training from the Royal Academy of Engineering of the UK, the University of Oxford and the Asian Institute of Management on innovation, technology commercialization and business development. She graduated Doctor of Medicine from the University of the Philippines, and obtained a Master in Public Management from the Development Academy of the Philippines.
